What Makes YOU Happy?
The truth is there is no profound way on how to make yourself happy or find happiness. Although it is important to know everyone isn’t going to be happy all of the time just remember you have a purpose on this earth and to always let it shine. Every day you wake up, strive to be your best you.
Finding Hope in Darkness
Everyone has the ability to hit rock bottom, feeling less than or of. Whether you lose a loved one, going through a breakup, missing someone but have to let go, or just sad in general. You can’t stay there, you have to move on. A part of this is grief, many people grief in different ways it up to you to find what suits you. Things like music, your favorite hobby, Going outside for a walk or jog, are things to keep your mind off of sadness and some people just like to talk about it. Whichever way you choose to remove yourself from that darkness.
Count your Blessings
Ask yourself how many times do you take things for granted? How often do we give thanks for what we got?
We always think about the things we want and never what we have. That is where your happiness begins; we must embrace what was gifted to us. I promise everyone reading if you count the things that didn’t go the way you want and things that happened unexpectedly, your blessings are way more important. You waking up this morning is a blessing in itself.
The Joy of Love
Love gives joy, and hate doesn’t. Want enchantment? Love more. It doesn’t have to be romantic love. It can be love for kids, family, friends, strangers whoever. When you serve others, you experience joy, and you bring joy to others. The power of what you do and can do makes a difference in your perspective, which enhances your spirit.
When you lift up the weak and the disadvantaged, you lift up yourself. It’s also the joy of giving and sharing.
Pride
Pride derives from the French word “prud”, It is thought that “having a high opinion of oneself. Many can see pride as a good thing and bad thinking it all depends on the way you portray it. In a positive way, it can be A feeling that you respect yourself and deserve to be respected by others. In a negative way, it can come off as conceited or too good for someone. Having pride can stop many blessings from coming on to you. It isn’t healthy to feel better than someone else or think since he/she did this I’m gonna do this. Be true to you!
Living with Envy and Jealousy
Envy and jealousy are some of the worst emotions you can encounter. Stop being envious of someone’s abilities or possessions. Instead, focus on how you can achieve those goals yourself. If not, set other goals for yourself, and move on.
Jealousy is very destructive and can make people do crazy things. It not only angers you, but it also saps your energy and diminishes the better part of you. It inhibits you from functioning and thinking clearly and objectively. Please watch out for people like this or if you are a jealous person please learn to release those toxins through yoga, exercising, dancing, playing sports, reading, meditation, etc.
