You are deserving of love not only from others around you, but also from the most essential person in your life: yourself. Self-love is a feeling of admiration for oneself. It entails focusing on one's own happiness and well-being, attending to one's own needs, and not sacrificing one's well-being to please others. We all have different ways of taking care of ourselves so self-love can mean different things to different people.

♡︎ Don’t compare yourself  to others. You are the only person on the earth who is exactly like you,  so you can't compare yourself to anyone else.

♡︎ Celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how great or tiny they may be. 

♡︎ Every day, take a break to clear your head. Simply take a few deep breaths in and out, clear your mind of all ideas, and be. 

♡︎ As much as possible, be conscious of what you're thinking, feeling, and speaking. Recognize when you're focusing on the negative and shift your attention to something positive. Focus on positive affirmations. Writing down positive affirmations about yourself is beneficial, by nourishing your mind and spirit.

Make yourself a priority when it comes to self-love. Take things one step at a time and your goal will become a reality. Recognize that you are important and that you are your own version of perfect.
