Becoming a Better Version of Myself Due to the Pandemic

The pandemic has taught me some of the most significant lessons I’ve ever learned. It caused me to see life in a new way:

  1. The pandemic taught me to appreciate what I have and to aim to be a better version of myself. To be honest I have taken life and the things I have in my life for granted. I didn't appreciate what I had a lot of the time. It was really difficult for me, as it was for all of us, during the pandemic, and I dealt with a number of personal issues. Those issues caused me to focus on what I have and made me understand that not everyone has what I have. Which made a significant impact in my life since I gradually began to enjoy everything and began to see changes in myself.

  2. The pandemic taught me to never take anything for granted since we never know what may happen in the future and everything can change in an instant. So I should be appreciative of what I have, such as the small things that we sometimes ignore.

  3. Furthermore, due to the pandemic, I was forced to stay at home all of the time, which allowed me to examine my behaviors and who I am as a person. The more time I spend at home, the more I understand that many of my actions may be harmful to others, and I didn't enjoy how I handled most of the situations. As a result, I began to transform myself. If it hadn't been for the pandemic, I would not have recognized all of the unpleasant aspects of myself that may have harmed others. The pandemic taught me to be a better version of myself, to cherish what I have and always be grateful for what I have.

I believe I’m not the only one who tried to become a better version of myself during this pandemic. As time went on, many people learned more about themselves and were motivated to take action. Some even found their motivation through watching TikTok and Youtube videos of people working out, cleaning, etc. For example, many of us went from not working out to working out almost every day; we started eating properly; we worked on improving our behaviors; and so on. What positive changes have you been able to incorporate into your life due to the pandemic?
